Happy Chatters Speech Pathology Services specialise in children’s communication development from 18 months of age to primary school age.
Welcome to Happy Chatters. Your therapist, Jess, works to provide family centred intervention which incorporates your child’s whole community. She believes that collaboration and joint decision-making with families and professionals is crucial for getting the best outcomes for your child.
Jess’s role is to teach children to build effective communication skills, which will help them to thrive at home, at school or in their social environment. Our service will provide individualised therapy services to support talking and listening skills for your child, while incorporating the most current evidence available.

Jessica Holden is the Director of Happy Chatters Speech Pathology Services and a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP).
Jess graduated from Speech Pathology studies in 2009 and has been working with children since this time. Jess has worked in speech pathology positions across NSW, VIC, ACT and WA and settled in the Illawarra with her young family.
She is driven to support all children’s right to build life long communication skills in a fun and friendly environment. She has an enthusiasm for paediatric speech pathology and has a wealth of experience with children’s communication disorders.
Jess is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia. Jess is committed to ongoing learning and is passionate about integrating the most up-to-date research into her practice.
Jess’s therapy style is child-centred and individualised. Jess aims to build connection with your child and plan intervention based on your child’s unique needs and interests.
